If you are interested in learning how to become a medium, I recommend you read some books on the subject before trying to connect.  I also recommend you meet your spirit guides as a first step before reaching out to spirit.  You can find some great meditations to meet your spirit guides on YouTube.

Akashic Records

I have taken two practitioner courses (and am currently taking a third) with Linda Howe and have read both of her books.  All who desire to can read their own Akashic Records for themselves.  For those interested in learning to read their own Records, I recommend her first book: How to Read the Akashic Records.  Or, you can check out her website at http://www.akashicstudies.com/ for information on training courses she offers.
